Optional Events for an Additional Fee

  • Special Event: "Riverboat Cruise on the Southern Belle" (Wednesday, September 16, 2026 - 5:30-9:30pm) - $125/person 

    • Join us memorable sunset cruise aboard the Southern Belle. This unparalleled private cruise aboard the Southern Belle Riverboat, will highlight the scenic beauty of the Tennessee River and include an exciting locking through Chickamauga Dam. ​Includes transportation, drink ticket and catered dinner.

  • WDSC Luncheon: (Thursday, September 17, 2026 – 12:00pm-1:30pm) - $50/Person​

    • Please join AEG and the Workforce Development and Support Committee Luncheon. This networking event offers an open forum for discussion and mutual education, focused on encouraging everyone to develop their unique strengths and embrace their peers for everything that makes them themselves. A speaker (to be announced later) will be presenting during the luncheon. You can also sponsor a student to attend. Everyone is welcome!

  • Annual Banquet - (Thursday, September 25, 2025 - 7:00-10:00pm) - $150/person 

    • ​This session will honor AEG’s prestigious award recipients. New this year - Enjoy local bluegrass band during dinner social hour.

  • Young at Heart EventCraft Drink Tasting and Game Night​ . This social event is a great way to start your week in Chattanooga.  â€‹Make or Mingle with your friends in environmental and engineering geology while you enjoy free appetizers and a free drink ticket. Located at the hotel, this event is an excellent opportunity to build connections with peers, mentors, senior fellows, and potential employers. We encourage students and young professionals to join the event and welcome experienced professionals who are “young at heart!” (Included with package, full, and student registrations. $50 for all other attendees)

  • Field Courses - Varies by Course

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations and requests for refunds must be made in writing to the Annual Meeting Committee Chair(s) through Meeting Manager Heather Clark (heather@aegweb.org). Verbal requests will not be accepted. Refunds may be issued 4-6 weeks after the close of the meeting.

  • For cancellations received at least 30 days prior to the start of the Annual Meeting:

  • A $75 processing fee will be applied for cancellation of a full Professional registration.

  • A $45 processing fee will be applied for cancellation of a daily Professional registration.

  • A $40 processing fee or the cost of the activity, whichever is less, will be applied for cancellation of each Annual Meeting activity: Events and Field Courses

  • A 50% refund will be issued for cancellations received between 15 and 30 days prior to the start of the Annual Meeting.

  • No refunds will be issued within 15 days of the start of the Annual Meeting.  Special consideration will be given for verifiable personal and medical emergencies.

Join us for AEG's Annual Meeting Virtual Days. This will be an online only day of technical presentations for those that would like to participate in the Annual Meeting but are unable to attend. All presentations will be recorded for later viewing.  5.5 PDHs will be available for this session.​​

Student Professional Networking Reception
